Cash Advance or a Late Bill Whats Worse

Cash Advance or a Late Bill Whats Worse Cash Advance or a Late Bill? Whats Worse? Cash Advance or a Late Bill? Whats Worse? The best way to avoid choosing between a late bill and a predatory cash advance loan is to be prepared ahead of time.Theres nothing quite like that sinking feeling in your gut when you realize something bads about to happen. We all remember back in school realizing that we had a test we forgot to study for. But in the real world, that cold knot of fear usually comes with some extra consequences attached. For instance: What do you do when you have an upcoming bill that you dont have the funds to cover. The consequences of paying a bill late (or not paying at all) can be pretty dire for your credit rating. On the other hand, a lot of  your options for getting that quick cash to make your payment can leave you burdened with an extremely high interest rate and trapped in a predatory cycle of debt.Hopefully, you have friends or family who can help you out in situations like these. But if you don’t have that option, you’re going to have to make so me difficult choices. Is it worth getting a risky cash advance if it means paying a bill on time? There are two types of cash advances.  If you’re going to be late on a bill, a cash advance loan might seem like a good way to resolve the situation. But is it?A true cash advance loans are acquired through your credit card. (Why do we say true cash advance loans? More on that below.) When you take out a credit card cash advance, the amount that you withdraw is added to your balance, just like a normal purchase. However, there are some key ways in which credit card cash advances and regular credit card transactions differ. For one, cash advances come with higher interest rates than regular purchases on your card. And whereas standard transactions give you a one-month grace period before interest starts accruing, cash advances start accruing interest immediately. Plus, cash advances often  carry  other  fees. Now to those not-so-true cash advance loans: Many payday lenders and other predat ory companies will use the term “cash advance” to refer to the no credit check loans theyre offering. This is not great, because payday loans (and other types of predatory bad credit loans) are much more dangerous than standard cash advances. They come with extremely short payment terms and APRs that can average almost 400 percent a yearâ€"or even more!Paying a bill late can hurt your credit  and  your quality of living.Payment history is the single most important factor in your credit score. It accounts for 35 percent of your total, more than any other category. (Your total balances owed is in  second place at 30 percent.) Lenders, landlords, and utility companies  really like to see that you pay your bills on time before they lend, rent, or provide service to you.So if a late or unpaid bill ends up on your credit report it can have an extremely negative effect on your score. It might just be the single most harmful thing you can do to your credit rating. And then there are the o ther effects of paying a bill late. Namely, you can have key services cut off or important possessions repossessed.Falling behind on your electricity or gas bill can lead to your provider shutting off service. No heat and no electricity? No thank you!And what about falling behind on your auto loan payments and having your car repossessed? Would you be able to get to work or your kids to school?  These are consequences that can really spin out of control. In the end, its really a matter of degrees. If youre only going to be a little late on a bill, and you can get away with a late fee and no derogatory marks on your credit report, then that is probably your best option. On the other hand, if youre going to be really  late on your bill, then  taking out a cash advance loanâ€"especially if its a cash advance on your credit cardâ€"is preferable. Its just not something you want to do too frequently; you dont want that high-interest debt stacking up. But as a one-time solution, its the best of your bad options. Then again,  you can probably avoid situations like this entirely if you  take proper precautions ahead of time.Get organized and dont procrastinate. We’ve been talking about late bills that you see coming. But if you’re not organized, you may not see the late bills coming at all.“Debt has a way of spiraling out of control,” warns Nate Masterson, finance manager for Maple Holistics (@MapleHolistics). “So, if you already know you are going to be late with a certain bill, that’s okay. You just need to make sure that you don’t accumulate more bills in the process. It can happen very rapidly sometimes and catch you completely off guard if you are not paying attention.“The best way to manage bills is to get organized about them. If you don’t have a standing order at your bank, you need to be on top of things. In fact, even if you do, you need to be on top of things, because those are all run by computers and mistakes are made all of the time. Since yo u probably don’t want to be on the receiving end of a huge errorâ€"and not even know about itâ€"it is best to keep your finger on the financial pulse of your life.”And if you do have the means to pay off your bills, pay them as soon as you can, even if it might hurt a little.“Don’t be a financial procrastinator,” advises Leslie H. Tayne Esq. (@LeslieHTayneEsq), Founder and Head Attorney at Tayne Law Group  (@taynelawgroup). “Instead of putting your credit card bill in a pile on your desk, open it up right away and make a payment. There’s no sense in waiting until a later time to pay it off; you’re going to have to pay it eventually, and making a payment as soon as you receive the bill will ensure you don’t miss the due date. It might take a bit of time to make this a habit, but your finances will be much better off once you establish making payments right away.”But sometimes trying to pay your bills hurts more than a little, especially when you have too many bill s and not enough funds to cover them.Learn how to prioritize your  payments, and be prepared to cut back. Most companies that bill regularlyâ€"lenders, credit card companies, utilitiesâ€"wont immediately report a late payment to the credit bureau. Sure, theyll charge you a late fee, and they might even up your interest rate, but  those are  small prices to pay when compared to a decimated credit rating. Before you figure out how you’ll deal with the late bills, it’s important to figure out which bills hold the biggest consequence for late payment.“Understand that some bills accumulate late fees,” Masterson explains. “This is crucial, and it can help you to better prioritize your debt payments. You should always aim to get rid of that which can end up harming you sooner. If late fees on a certain bill are insanely high, do what you can to take care of it, even if it comes at the expense of another bill, which does not accumulate late fees, or which doesn’t have a fee which is as high.“Depending on the size of the billâ€"and its latenessâ€"you are going to have to get realistic about your expenses. If this is a bill which can end up hurting your credit standing, or affect your future in some serious way, you may need to seek out other options. Always do your research, keep a level head, and try not to let stress and anxiety guide you through that process. That is a recipe for disaster.“If you are looking to extricate yourself from the debt spiral, you’ll need to sacrifice some things. This is a harsh truth, but you cannot bank on receiving a large chunk of money or a bonus. Even if you have something like that coming your way, you need to work on a ‘Plan B’.”Even if you pay a bill late, that doesnt mean Game Over.  OK, so some of your bills are going to be late. Now, what can you do about itâ€"especially if you don’t want to risk something like a cash advance loan? Tayne lays out the steps you can take to lessen the pain of a late bill:†œRequest a due date change: If your due date is putting you in a compromising financial position and it’s not aligning with your budget or pay schedule, many credit card companies will be willing to assist in moving the date. If you are consistently making late payments, it would be in your best interest to go to a more suitable date. Not only are you incurring late fees and interest, but youre also causing your credit score to take a dip. A due date change can make all the difference in keeping you financially healthy.“Ask for a credit of a late payment fee: If you are a good customer with a long and responsible history with your credit card company, then they may be willing to let a little hiccup of a late payment slide. If you have consistently been late, they may not give you credit for all the late fees, but if you offer to sign up for automatic payments as an exchange for late fee removal, you may be successful in getting your credit. If you show good faith in trying to im prove your payment record, you may be able to get in the good graces and be accommodated.“Get on the phone:  If your servicer hasn’t called you, then call them. You want to be on your creditor’s ‘good side.’ Explain to them the situation and what they recommend so you don’t miss another payment. When you speak to your lender, consider also asking if your missed payment has caused any late charges or fees on your account. If this happens, you might want to cut back on some of your non-essential expenses to help you pay this down.”Late bills are never going to be an ideal situation.  But follow these tips and you can give yourself at least one good option for getting out of trouble. To learn more about ways to protect your credit score, check out these related posts and articles from OppLoans:Start Your New Year Out Right: Get a Credit Check! An Apple a Day Keeps the Bad Credit Away7 Things You Didn’t Know Could Impact Your CreditHow do you deal with late bills? How to Make a Rubric for Differentiation

Rubrics are rules or a way to explicitly lay out expectations for an assignment, and the means to evaluate or grade an assignment using a point system. Rubrics work very well for differentiated instruction, as you can establish different levels of performance for general education students and for children receiving special education services. As you start making your rubric, think about the things you need to know to assess a students performance on a project/paper/group effort. You need to create four or more categories to evaluate and then establish the criteria for each score. You can format your rubric as a questionnaire or as a chart. Be sure it is clearly written, as you want to give it to your students and review it as you introduce the assignment. When you are done, you can tailor your use of the information for the following: IEP data collection, especially for writing.Your grading/reporting format: i.e., 18 of 20 points is 90% or an A.To report to parents or students. History The Indian Removal Act Essay - 1108 Words

The early 1800’s was a very important time for America. The small country was quickly expanding. With the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark expedition, America almost tripled in size by 1853. However, even with the amount of land growing, not everyone was welcomed with open arms. With the expansion of the country, the white Americans decided that they needed the Natives out. There were several motives for the removal of the Indians from their lands, to include racism and land lust. Since they first arrived, the white Americans hadn’t been too fond of the Native Americans. They were thought to be highly uncivilized and they had to go. In his letter to Congress addressing the removal of the Indian tribes, President Jackson†¦show more content†¦The act consisted of eight sections that defined, in detail, what could be expected. They let him maintain control over the tribes, even though they moved. Five tribes, the Choctaw, Cherokee, Chickasaw, Creeks, and Seminoles, agreed to sign treaties to leave their homes and move west (Copeland 195). However, Andrew Jackson left a few pieces of information out: â€Å"What the Removal Bill did not do was as significant as what it did. It did not define precisely the constitutional rights of any tribe that had been removed. It did not make mandatory the allocation of funds for tribal assistance if Congress wanted the money for anything else. It specified no machinery for carrying out the removal. Also, it made no mention that in 1828 gold had been discovered on Cherokee land at Dahlonega, Georgia, and it drew no lines between state or federal rights† (Jahoda 41). If this information was placed in the bill, it could have put risk on the agreement between Jackson and the tribes. It possibly may have made it more difficult to get the Indians to agree to it. In 1831, the Cherokee nation went to court against the state of Georgia. They were disputing the state’s attempt to hold jurisdiction over their territory. Unfortunately, because they are not under the laws of the constitution, the Indian’s right to court was denied. It was not until 1835 that the Cherokee finally agreed to sign the treaty, giving up their Georgia land for that of Oklahoma. Business Outsourcing and Functions †Free Samples to Students

Question: Discuss about the Business Outsourcing and Functions. Answer: Introduction: The process of contracting out or delegating work to people or agencies outside the business premises is called outsourcing business function. It may evolve in carrying tasks, job, or any operation where external third parties are contracted for significant time period(Riley, 2010). The work outsourced can be performed in house or outside the firm. Outsourcing has gained much importance with changing nature of businesses (Dendler, n.d.). In last decades, many big and small organisations which are getting associated with globalisation, considers outsourcing function as a positive approach. Geographical limitations are dealt with ease by facilitating outsourcing business functions like manufacturing, customer support, in house support, advertisement, etc.(ITONews.eu, 2017) The role of strategic management has become important not only to look after business practice carried within organisations, but also manage work that can be outsourced to get efficient work with cost reductive ways. Since outsourcing itself is a complicated process, a company may face various challenges while implementing it into business(Pellicelli, 2012). In this literature review opportunities of outsourcing in business along with major challenges faced by it will be reviewed and analysed with the help of research made by authors and researchers along with identifying gaps between the studies. As shown in above figure, the reason to outsource work to external providers is various and thus becomes necessary to introduce it in business. Depending on the nature of business the outsourcing function may vary but the primary objective behind it lays the same i.e. cost reduction or gaining efficiency in work(Kremic, 2006). For example, in large manufacturing companies where great number of people is required like labours, designers, suppliers, contractors, etc. outsourcing provides great help as requirement of hiring full time staff is not necessary on outsourced areas. In manufacturing firms large number of parts are manufactured by outsourced companies which could otherwise have been expensive or difficult to manufacture by own. In customer service companies like call centres and BPOs, large firms outsource their customer related services in order to reduce costs of making separate department for them in house. Other human resource management tasks like employee training centre s, payroll, staff benefit management, etc are largely outsourced in order to get higher quality work from experts(Anon., 2011). Advertising plays a major role to make enhanced sale of product or services in business. Outsourcing has given industries a great backing here as large number of advertising companies and social media sites gets outsourced by businesses and carries the work in lesser time. Therefore in some or the other way business is largely depended on outsourcing function to expand their work area and bring in efficiency. Work quality is improved by hiring experts along with enabling business owners to give core efforts in major activities for development of the firm. Although outsourcing is becoming centre in todays business functions, the challenges to improvise them are also increasing. Thus it becomes necessary on management part to understand the key benefits and potential challenges behind outsourcing function in business(LLP, 2010). The opportunities relating outsourcing function is been developing and is considered to be highly potential in business(Kremic, 2006). The advantages of it can be clearly seen in running of organisations which is observed and described by different authors. The following figure depicts major opportunity that can be gained by business while implementing outsourcing function. Operation costs reduction: This is the most advantageous feature of outsourcing which helps organisations to eliminate expenses of full time staff for executing operational or manufacturing area. If manufacturing of parts that requires special machine or assistance of special technicians is outsourced, it can reduce the requirement of setting those expensive machines and hiring full time technicians(Crosby, 2017). Works related to internal management area like legal, planning, product designing, etc. requires expert advices. Outsourcing can provide scope for expert advice in cost effective manner as they may be efficient in their work while giving services to many companies simultaneously. Easier cost control: The role of management plays an important part to recognise cost curtail in organisational functions as if outsourcing is done in proper and planned manner, it can prove very effective in controlling overall costs of business. Like if a companys work is seasonal, the hiring of full time staff can increase the cost of project while outsourcing can minimise the costs, provided, the availability of staff is possible during peak season. In other areas like cleaning and sanitizing, transportation, currier service, advertising etc. are normally outsourced in large organisations in order to perform the task in effective and cost reductive way(Simeoni, 2011). Cooperation with specialist from narrow area: The requirement of advisors in legal and administrative part of firms can prove expensive as the specialists charge higher rates if engaged full time. Outsourcing these functions can provide engagement of experts in lower costs as they work together for many companies and take charges in distributed way. Big organisations prefer to hire full time staff for crucial jobs where important data is used whereas small companies find it easier to outsource these functions and get expert advices in nominal rates(McCray, 2012). Process optimization and rising efficiency: Outsourcing gives opportunities to the companies to get exposure to merchant specialized systems. By outsourcing work to them, efficiency is increased along with gaining quality products. It also enables time optimization by outsourcing time taking processes to outsiders(Simeoni, 2011). For example in restaurants and hospitals where large quantity of food and vegetables along with other supplies is required to be purchased on daily basis, outsourcing its marketing function to vendors and supply agencies can get their work done in quicker way and on time. Liberating capital for other purposes: While outsourcing work, capital of the firm is liberated and can be utilized for other important areas. For example, outsourcing Social Medias for advertisement or brand promotion will be easier for the company than to make provision for brand promotion by them and invest in campaigning and door to door advertising. Expenditure can be saved as Social Medias provide advertising function in cheaper and effective way. Thus saved expenditure can be utilised in other important areas like planning and executing(Pellicelli, 2012). Releasing internal capabilities: This function is also very important as many companies take advantage of outsourcing to release themselves from tedious jobs for other important works. In businesses large number of activities is carried and distributed among employees within the organisation and some are delegated to outside agencies. The owners keep themselves free for monitoring and executing confidential functions of organisations(Kremic, 2006). This function not only saves time and energy of delegators but also helps them in sharing risks with the outsourced agencies. While making contracts and terms, companys mentions the time and quality required and if the outsourced company fails to do that, they are entailed to bear losses if the products are not appreciated by the customers(Crosby, 2017). Although there are many benefits of outsourcing, there are many challenges also which are faced by the companies. No matter how much planned or budgeted management is, there are few challenges still met by them which have been identified by researchers(Wong, 2006). As shown in the figure below, the major challenges faced by companies are considered and discussed while giving suitable example. Loss of control: One of the biggest challenges faced by business while outsourcing some of its functions is losing significant control over the outsourced area. Since the external agencies become responsible for task completion, they might not let the delegators to interfere while the task is been performed(Arena Solutions, Inc., 2017). Thus before realizing the possession; the owners lose control in those areas. Like in product manufacturing company, the outsourced manufacturer may lose quality as they work for many companies altogether and cannot look at each company with consideration and while they restrict the delegators to interfere with their processes, it becomes challenging situation for the outsourcing companies. Coverage: In larger companies where many tasks are outsourced, it becomes difficult on management part to cover entire area monitoring in regular basis. Challenges relating outsourcing done in house are exempted from this factor, while others like manufacturers, advisors, advertising agencies, transport agencies, training experts, etc. are difficult to get covered under monitoring system of management. For example, in hotel business, where large number of activities takes place like cooking, cleaning, sanitising, marketing, etc. lots of people are engaged and many works are outsourced. Thus can become challenging for the management to look after all areas with concentration(Gammelgard, 2017). Employment Inefficiency: While work is outsourced, it may sometimes result in losing morale of employees and reduce their work quality. This is another challenge faced by organisations and to overcome it the management needs to consider outsourcing from employees view point(Sethi, 2011). For example if an important or growth oriented program is outsourced and employees are given only tedious and directive work, they might lose faith in their capabilities and thus reduces work performance and efficiency. Many stakeholders: Stakeholders are the ones who are directly or indirectly related to the firm commercially. When work is outsourced, more people and agencies get attached to the company and thus becomes an integrated part of the firm. To some extent company becomes liable to them as if their reputation is hampered; the affects might also be faced by the company. Thus outsourcing involves many stakeholders who bring in risks for delegators. This challenge is normally faced by big organisations where huge activities take place in speckled and global ways. While the organisations work is delegated in dispersed way and sometimes to other countries also, they become liable for many stakeholders(Whitebox Buisness Solutions, 2012). Dispersed locations: Most companies outsource work to agencies in dispersed areas and sometimes to other countries also (of-shoring). While the work is scattered it becomes challenging on the management part to deal with them at the time of difficulties(Whitebox Buisness Solutions, 2012). For example, agriculture functions for producing food crops are outsourced in food industries where the organisations are unable to do of their own. Since it requires large area and sometimes even outsourced to other countries favourable for producing required crops, the challenge of dispersed location is faced. Other challenge faced by organisations while dispersing its activity to other countries is challenge of culture and language diversification which makes difficult for organisations to tackle while trading product and service related issues. Budget inadequacy: Sometimes the outsourcing companies are unable to understand and figure out the difference in costs between self working and outsourcing. If made without proper planning, outsourcing can sometimes prove ineffective function with increased cost expenditure. The challenge faced here is to make proper planning for the outsourcing function so that budget is not disturbed. On the other hand where the business has got limited number of administrators, outsourcing becomes necessary and the budget for it can sometimes prove inadequate for them(McCray, 2012). Know how: This challenge has two meanings in literature. One reveals the challenge of getting knowledge about the quality of outsourced work while other reveals the knowledge about method used for doing the work. For example, firms relating manufacturing of medicine outsources manufacturing of some medicines which requires special machines and is difficult for them to purchase. While the manufacturing is outsourced, sometimes the product delivered by the agencies can be of inferior quality and made under unhygienic conditions. This can become dangerous and even lead to shutting down of outsourcing companies. Thus a very crucial challenge faced by organisations is getting informed about the procedure of outsourced work(Wong, 2006). Conclusion To understand the opportunities and challenges while outsourcing in business is very important as to outsource work in business has become extremely important in todays business world. In fast developing countries, globalisation in organisations has gained significance which could be facilitated by outsourcing(Anon., 2011). The key opportunities that lie in outsourcing like cost reducing way and work efficiency are the reason why most companies prefer outsourcing their business function(ITONews.eu, 2017). The gaps that are identified in this study are knowledge about proper method and technique with which successful outsourcing function can be obtained. Although researchers and authors have provided many important informations for the companys who have or are planning to implement outsourcing function in their business, still the effective procedure for outsourcing is required so that it becomes easier for managers to improvise it with ease. In this research paper the analysis betwee n opportunities and challenges of outsourcing business function have been made after making a brief study about outsourcing in order to attain utmost information(Simeoni, 2011). While outsourcing, opportunities like cost effectiveness is gained along with increased efficiency on the other hand the company tends to lose control over significant areas. Engagement of experts gives opportunities to firms in gaining expert advices while security risks relating important data are also possible. Time saving is probable if the work is done correctly or else could result in adverse affects. Although the managers are released for other significant growth related works, the quality of the outsourced work is sometimes hampered(Simeoni, 2011). Therefore after analysing, it can be rightfully said that gaining opportunity of outsourcing is possible only after getting profound knowledge and talent to manage its challenges. Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) in Integration with Federal Union

Introduction Increased technology and communication in the world today has made interaction between human beings easier. Technology has give globalization a whole new meaning. Despite prevailing challenges, the prospect of forming a harmonious world authority, probably modeled along the idea of the United Nations is more real than ever.Advertising We will write a custom assessment sample on Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) in Integration with Federal Union specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Issues such as race that have divided humanity for ages have taken a backseat as people interact on the basis of interests and benefits. However, the road to achieve full globalization and a functioning world government will not be achieved easily (McCarthy 1). There are steps that need to be taken and the idea may take decades before it comes to pass. On a regional scale however, integration has made huge strides that ar e on course to giving birth to regional federal unions. Many regional groupings such as the East African Community, European Union and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf who were set up mainly for economic reasons are quickly evolving to political outfits that in the end may form federal units. This discussion will focus on the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC)’s chances of integrating to a federal union and the merits and demerits that may arise as a result of such a move. Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf The charter that establishes the GCC recognizes it as a multipurpose organization whose main mandate is to spearhead the integration of the member states to achieve unity in all fields. Members of GCC include Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Unite Arab Emirates. Though establishment of a single market was the main objective behind the formation of GCC in 1981, changing regional and international p olitical and security dynamics have compelled the grouping to consider forming a political federation. Mostly probably due to recent events shaping politics in the Arab Peninsula, GCC members states announced on March 2012 that they group will start putting in place mechanisms to help it evolve to a confederation. It is apparent a political federation will be the ultimate destination when necessary mechanisms have been put in place. The GCC becoming one country will need to go past a singular independent entity such as the European Union that has politically sovereign states within it, to an integrated model like the United States of America that will be bound by a common supreme law and treaties establishing the union. While the above process is likely to take some time, it is possible and the new country is likely to reap benefits from it.Advertising Looking for assessment on social sciences? Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More Merits of a GCC political federation Large federal organizations like the United States have semi-autonomous units that govern themselves although the federal government holds authority over them (Lombaerde et al. 172). Such an arrangement for the GCC will come with numerous benefits. McCarthy says that such political unions eliminate the â€Å"smallness† that many countries feel when dealing with more established peers on the international front (1). The economy of the GCC will stand to gain most from a GCC country. This is because, the country will have a single economic system shaped by federal laws that will encourage higher consumption and growth of the economy. There will be a larger population subscribing to the same economic system and a federal government that will have more bargaining power on matters relating to the economy. The country will be able to support free movement of people within its territory, a factor crucial to economic development and prosperity. Cou pled with unparalleled oil resources and a fully functioning federal system, a GCC country will be in a pole position to dominate the region economically than it is presently. Economic clout and strength largely lays the base for other advantages that will have a ripple effect both within a GCC country and the region. A well managed GCC federal economy will easily support a well funded and equipped military that will raise the county’s profile in the region and the world. The above two elements will aid the federal GCC country to formulate a comprehensive foreign policy that will ensure the country’s interests are secured both domestically and abroad. The above benefits largely center on politics and the economy. A federal GCC country will also bring long social benefits. One advantage that a GCC country will offer its residents is freedom of movement that will enable interaction of people with different backgrounds and cultures united by language and religion. This wi ll eventually give rise to a melting pot of cultures effectively creating a unique GCC culture and identity. Demerits of a GCC political federation Despite the successes associated with such a union, federal political units like the United States and the proposed GCC country are not without their disadvantages (Brabant 26). One main advantage that such an arrangement will bring along is diminished or loss of national sovereignty and identity. In fact, some scholars have cited it as one of the biggest challenges that many regional blocks face in their quest to become federal units. Leaders and nationals of individual nations normally find it hard to cede authority to the federal government.Advertising We will write a custom assessment sample on Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) in Integration with Federal Union specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More It is a disadvantage because many nationals within the GCC will have to forego any form of benefits they may have been receiving from their national governments and, a possible reduction of government support due to increased responsibilities of the federal government. Additionally, a federal GCC will most certainly disrupt the prevailing social, political and economic order which may take years for people to adjust to and feel part of. Success in such a regional undertaking is not always guaranteed (Espinoza et al. 20). On a lesser scale therefore, there is always a possibility that formation of a GCC country may fail midway disrupting regional balance which may adversely affect the region. Conclusion It is important to note that the above exploration of advantages and disadvantages of a possible formation of a GCC country is not exhaustive. Certainly, there are many more benefits that will come out of such an arrangement if examined separately and precisely. However, the above, political, economical and social benefits largely highlight what a n entity like the one proposed is likely to get. It is not always guaranteed that formation of a federal government will succeed. There usually are many dynamics at play and which subtly derail or accelerate success or failure of such a venture. In GCC’s case however, a political federation that may form a GCC country will no doubt be a right step in the quest to attain political, economical and military supremacy. Besides, the social benefits of such an arrangement will be worth a try. Works Cited Brabant, Jozef. My Life Style Changes, Seeking Wellness

My Life Style Changes, Seeking Wellness Free Online Research Papers My Lifestyle Changes Paper will include the six components of wellness, that being Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual, Interpersonal and Environmental wellness. It will include my goals, my weaknesses as well as my strengths to the components of wellness as well as a plan for myself to manage all of these components. The paper will also include anticipated changes in my lifestyle that may challenge the individual components of wellness and how I plan to deal with these changes. The first component of wellness that I’ll discuss in that of Physical wellness, which requires eating well, exercising, avoiding harmful habits, responsible decision making, learning about and recognizing sicknesses and diseases, keeping regular medical and such checkups along with preventing injuries along with other physical characteristics of your body. My goals for Physical wellness are to live a healthy and active lifestyle. In order to do this I must improve on some of my weaknesses in this area, which are eating unhealthy foods. I must also learn to make some decisions that I make more responsible, as well as learning more about diseases and how I can prevent them from happening. Another key fault of mine is that I drink alcohol, it may be just a college phase, but in order to be completely physically healthy I must learn to cut down on my consumption of alcohol. Despite my weaknesses I do have many strengths in this area, some are exercising regularly which I have alwa ys tried to find time to do. Trying to be selective in my eating habits and eating as much healthy food as possible. Another strength is I am motivated and care about my physical appearance and how I treat my body and want to look. My plan to improve on my Physical wellness by continuing living an active lifestyle and exercising regularly. Also to try to step things up a notch for that of my strengths, continue doing the good things that I have been doing. I’d also like to improve greatly upon my weaknesses, by trying to be much more selective in my eating habits, trying to avoid late night snacking and eating foods low in fat and unhealthy substances. Another key thing for improving my Physical wellness is to cut down dramatically in my drinking of alcohol, which I plan on doing. I’d also like to become aware of diseases and injuries that I have a higher risk of attaining and do the things necessary to preventing these things. Along with that are some simple things that I can do to increase my Physical wellness, such as my driving habits to slow down my speeds, along with taking othe r safety precautions in things that I do. Basically just thinking about what it is I’m about to do, and making some responsible decisions for the good of my Physical wellness. Emotional wellness, which is optimism, trust, self-esteem, self-acceptance, self control, satisfying relationships and the ability to control my emotions and express them openly and properly. Emotional wellness to means a lot to me to be stable with myself and the relationships amongst my friends and family. My goals are to maintain steady relationships with those I’m associated with and always keep a positive frame of mind for myself to be happy. As well as to be at one with myself and expressing my emotions openly. My weaknesses as far as Emotional wellness are very little the one thing that I do not always do is express my emotions and what I’m actually feeling openly with others. My strengths are that I have very high self-esteem as well as self-confidence. I accept myself for who I am and that is all that I can ask of myself. I have very satisfying relationships with both my family and friends. I also do a lot of thinking and exploring of myself, to think about thi ngs going on in my life and how I’d like to deal with them. I plan to manage my Emotional wellness better by trying to be more open about my feelings and thoughts with others. I’d like to be able to sit down and talk about my problems if I have any with any one I know, that’s how open and emotionally stable I’d like to become. Rather than just letting things sit inside me not knowing what’s to come of my thoughts and feelings built up inside. This is a very positive aspect of my life, but you can always improve on anything and I’d like to on my openness to others as I have talked about above. Intellectual wellness is being open to new ideas, the ability to think and question critically, motivation to fulfill new skills, sense of humor, creativity as well as having curiosity. My goals for intellectual wellness are to keep my mind constantly learning and never be satisfied with what I have learned. My weaknesses for Intellectual wellness are a lso very few, the one thing that I think really stands out from the list is creativeness. Which also may have some things to do with thinking critically. My strengths are that I’m a very open minded person always willing to try and experience something new. I have a great motivation and determination inside of me that makes me want to perfect whatever it is I’m doing at the time whatever it may be. My sense of humor is also very key, I couldn’t live without having humor and laughing, its just one of the greatest things about live to make someone smile or smiling yourself. I also find myself curios about new things asking questions and researching about things I don’t know something about, constantly trying to learn more and more all of the time. My goals as far as Intellectual wellness go to keep on doing what I have been for the positives and to always keep an open mind no matter what the situation may be. As far as improving I can try to be more creativ e my just trying new things, thinking about things seriously and really trying hard to do different things each time could improve my creativeness. Spiritual wellness is the ability to have guiding beliefs, principles or values that give you a purpose in life. It involves love, compassion, forgiveness, altruism, joy and fulfillment. My weaknesses are in this category are that I’m a college student and I don’t have to time that’d I’d like to greater explore my Spiritual wellness. I’d like to be more involved with my family and experience more of the things Intellectual wellness has to do with them. As well as church, I’d love to become an active member in my church once again. My strengths are that I do know that I have a person in life and would like to fulfill that purpose for the good. I also have love all around me, from friends and family. I’m very happy where I am and what I’m doing with my life. I also do pray every night and believe in God and I want to go to heaven. I know what it is to be compassionate to others as well as when I’m receiving it as well as th at of forgiving others for their wrong doing and receiving it from them when I do wrong. My goals for improving my Intellectual wellness are that to try and spend more time with my family to spread and receive the love, compassion and joy as well as all the things that come in Intellectual Wellness that they have to offer. Once I am done with college and on my own again I also plan on becoming an active member in a church in my area and attending. Although I’m very happy in my life right now, I think with the church it just can make everything more meaningful and really help you realize your purpose in life. Interpersonal and Social wellness is the ability to have satisfying relationships, both physical and emotionally. It involves good communication skills, developing intimacy, support networks such as family and friends. My goals for this are to keep steady and good relationships with those around me and to always be involved in someway with my loved ones. My weaknesses in this category are very few, the one thing I feel I don’t do well is show my intimacy and love enough to my family and friends who surround me. My strengths in the category are many every relationship that I have every had I’d have to say had been a good and satisfying one and I remain on good terms with all my family and friends. I feel they are both physically and emotionally stable, I’m so close with so many people and have so much trust in them and feel as if I could tell anyone of my family members or friends anything I felt like. Knowing they’d be caring and supportive in my decision or wrongdoing. Which brings me to the next strength which is communication, that I feel is the key to developing long lasting interpersonal and social relationships with your family and friends. You have to talk about things and get them out amongst your family and friends to keep a good relationship going. The support of my family and friends has also always been there and likewise for my self for them, I know that anything I do or they do we will be rooting for one another until the end, which is a great thing. It really makes you feel good about yourself to know that you have everyone on your side there for you. The things that I could work on to improve with showing my intimacy and love for my family and friends, I’d have to try and develop even tighter relationships than we already have which could be tough to do. I think just as far as always being there for them and telling them that you love them and care about them, are things I can do to assure those around me of my intimacy and love for them. So I plan on trying to be close and always be positive and encourage my loved ones and tell them how much they really mean to me, thus improving my Interpersonal and Social wellness. Last is Environmental wellness, which is that to benefit our planet from your doing as well and keeping healthy due to the effect of our environment. My goals for Environmental wellness is to greatly improve my awareness as well as my wellness in it more than I am right now, not to just benefit myself but the future of our world. My weaknesses as far as Environmental wellness starts off with and obvious one recycling, which I don’t do. Another major one if driving everywhere as a single passenger of a car, which pollutes the air. Another harmful thing that comes from the environment is its ultraviolet rays that I don’t always protect myself from. Another thing that I don’t do but am harmed from as well as the air is breathing in second hand smoke. Now onto my strengths for Environmental wellness which is by far my weakest category. I do recycle when its provided but not on my own is one positive. Another positive is that I don’t smoke nor do I encourage smoking to those around me. Littering is also that I’m really against and have participated in Adopt a Highway Program numerous times. I also don’t participate in violence in society I’m against fighting, and often talked other out of it. My plan to fix my weaknesses are to become much more aware of the environmental factors that I can contribute to, for helping our world a better place. I’d like to get recycle bins around my house and begin recycling all the products accordingly. I’d also like to car pool to cut the rush hour traffic down in Minneapolis, and more importantly to help prevent the air pollution in the environment. I’d also like to protect myself from the ultraviolet rays of the sun more often while lounging in it, by using sun block of the proper SPF to lower my risk of skin cancer. I’d also like to cut down on my hanging out in places where there are high amounts of second hand smoke and just be wiser in my decisions to where I want to go and take an alternate place without smoke floating about in the air. These are the things I’d like to do to raise my level of awareness and of contributing to my Environmental wellness. Now I will be talking about some anticipated changes that will most likely occur in my life, and which of the six components of the wellness I think I will be affected in by these changes. The first change that will occur that I’m going to talk about is aging. I think that the greatest challenge that everyone will come about will be aging and its toll on your Physical wellness. The challenge to try and stay physically healthy, as you get older it only gets more challenging. You must really watch what you eat, and go to the doctor more often for regular checkups on your health and most of all try to keep active and try and treat your injuries and sicknesses quickly so they don’t take a toll on you. Aging I feel may as well take some amount of challenge on your Emotional wellness, being that were all so used to being young and healthy. That for many it may be difficult to stay positive and keep your mind thinking you can make it through this tough stage of aging. Aging may also take some challenge to overcome the Intellectual wellness, by growing old you forget things, and seem that you’ve seen it all. So you must keep that desire to learn to keep on tact of your Intellectual wellness and continue to be open and learn and grow as you age. Changes in a job may also be a challenge that you may come across in your time, I think this could really affect your Emotional wellness, especially if you don’t like the change. We must learn to accept changes and learn to stay positive and take things as they come about to us. Intellectual challenges also we will all come about, not being in school anymore and feeling as if we know it all from our experiences. We must constantly continue to learn, you can never know too much. So we must keep open to new things and challenges that we come about and keep a positive frame of mind when these challenges may come about our lives. In order to adapt to the lifestyle changes that we may come about, we must be motivated for the changes and set goals to overcome your weaknesses and make changes for the good, and keep all the components of wellness i n mind in doing so Bibliography none needed Word Count: 2505 Research Papers on My Life Style Changes, Seeking WellnessAnalysis of Ebay Expanding into AsiaGenetic EngineeringRiordan Manufacturing Production PlanThree Concepts of PsychodynamicBionic Assembly System: A New Concept of SelfLifes What IfsThe Project Managment Office SystemThe Effects of Illegal Immigration19 Century Society: A Deeply Divided EraHonest Iagos Truth through Deception

Though there is an increase in the number of schools, the people selecting these schools are still less. Most of the disabled children are not enrolled in any of the schools and they feel they are different from others. Educational institutions all over the world are trying hard to provide the necessary facilities for the disabled children. Government should provide the resources required to manage the special children. Inclusion helps in providing the essential opportunities to all students. It helps in increasing the involvement of students in all types of activities. The existing government and their policies on special education and inclusion are better than how it was before. But this is not sufficient, as disabled people find it difficult to mingle with the normal people. Although there are several institutions that help these children and include them, this has to be increased. In countries like U.K and America, where the number of service organizations are limited, it becomes difficult for the parents to manage such children. More service organizations should be established and they should take the initiative to help these children. Government must organize all this and make sure the special education is provided to everybody without any discrimination. Inclusion is done to enable all students including the disabled to participate in all activities. They should not be separated from others; doing so will spoil the child's mind. America When compared to other countries, America has the major number of schools that educate students with disabilities. The number of students in the special education is rapidly increasing, which in turn leads to the increase in the special education schools. Generally it is difficult to make out the student who has disability from the normal students, as not all of the disabled people will be severe. American education system is being inclusive as it includes people with all sorts of disability. (Mitchell 2005).Disabled students will not be able to perform well when compared to the other students. Hence special care should be taken to make them excel in the academics. Most of the special children pursue their high school, where as there is a decline in the disabled students completing the high school. Once they complete their education, most of them try and engage in any employment and some continue their higher education. This information was revealed by a recent survey conducted in Am erica. America is definitely growing at a fast pace in improving the special education institutions. As seen in the survey report, America is better than the other countries in terms of the inclusion and education for all. There are so many schools that concentrate on educating these special and disabled children. To enhance the existing education system, the schools should be made aware of the disabilities and special children. The teachers and the faculties must have knowledge about the problems and how to help them in continuing their education. New strategies can be adapted

Leadership Reflection Journal

Leadership Reflection Journal What follows is my leadership journal. 1. My Leadership Role When I was a little girl about five years old, I had my first leadership experience. I was part of a dance group and was the first one in the row, my teacher told me everyday, â€Å"my darling, it is you who will have to make no mistakes, learn all the right steps and then practice them again and again, because everyone else will simply follow you, and your mistake would make not only you but everyone else in the group look bad†. She then told me that only people who were special were given this very important responsibility. Oh! I just can’t express how happy these words made me feel, but little did I know what a burden was put on my shoulders. Later as I grew up and was about 10 years old I was made the class representative , I was very happy with the trust my teachers and classmates showed in me but, at the same time I knew I was accountable and answerable for a lot of things. This phase of my life charted out a lot of my personality .It made me a more confident pers on, it made me an individual who was not afraid of taking responsibilities and tasks, no matter how challenging they might seem. Most importantly it made me realise that sometimes it is accountability that gets out the best in you. But nevertheless I was just a little girl who did not know all the stakes of being the leader. Years passed and my post of the class prefect turned into that of the cultural secretary of my school. As I swore in the responsibility of being the cultural secretary I could not help but be proud, I could not help but experience power. But, also I could not help hearing the echoes in my head, the echoes of my teacher’s voice, â€Å"remember everyone else will simply follow you, and your mistakes affect the entire group†. At that very instant I realised that leadership is not just the capacity to take people to a place they can’t get to on their own†. So, I took up the responsibilities while others made excuses , and made it my goal t o give my school the best of shows, cultural events and gala evenings it had ever witnessed. This task however was not easy but, I also wasn’t an easy quitter. I challenged myself at every step and made it a point to be persistent and have tenacity despite failure at times. I had dreams, everyone does, but I also had the courage to turn it into reality. I knew that power corrupts but, I constantly reminded myself that I was here to bring glamour in my shows rather than being overpowered by the glamour in my post. From the five year old little girl to an eighteen year old young adult in my experience as a leader I’ve realised one thing. Sometimes, it just happens in an instant. We step up. We become a leader. We see a path, and we take it .Even when we have no idea where we are going. 2. The Poster As a king loves his kingdom, all the people in it, every blade of grass that grows on his land, every pebble that resides in its waters. All that is good and all that is bad , all that is strong and all that is not. Such should also be the reign of a leader, who in his reign takes into consideration the needs, desires and goals of all his followers, and at the same time also motivates them to put in all their energies to achieve the common group goal. Also one must always remember a king is not a king without his kingdom and so is true for the leader as well. A leader is nothing without his followers, just like the king, the leader may wear the crown but his actual power resides in the trust invested in him by his followers. It is these ideas that inspire our poster. Our poster depicts the leader as a king like figure who is calm and wise. In the depth of his eyes can be seen years of experience. Our leader wears a crown made out of several people, symbolising his followers. This uni que crown further reflects our main idea of the power of the leader being his follower’s support and trust. Further our poster also depicts beams of lights popping out of each follower’s head, with their individual goal written on it. This was done to put emphasis on the role of a good leader to place importance on individual goals alongside common group goals. Our poster also expresses the individual importance of every member in the group. The slogan says â€Å"Leadership is the initiative of the leader but the voice of the followers†, this too highlights our main idea. To take everyone forward is a leader’s dream, but to work with everyone to achieve this dream, is his challenge. Our poster is also inspired to some extent by the great mughal emperor AKBAR, who in his court had nine special ministers famously called the â€Å" Nav Ratnas†. No policy in the kingdom was implemented without the consensus of these nine people. The â€Å"Nav Ratnasâ € were King Akbar’s greatest advisors. It is said that king Akbar and his nine ministers would argue for hours together before making the final decision on any important matter in the kingdom. The result of all this, King Akbar was able to promote secularism in a kingdom where muslim’s and hindu’s fought all the time. He was also given the title of â€Å"THE GREAT â€Å", and till today is one of the most loved kings of the Indian sub-continent. Our group after a lot of brainstorming and considering examples of great leaders such as King Akbar, came to the conclusion of basing our poster on the leader –follower relationship. And so our poster shouts out loud our idea, of the power of the leader actually being the trust invested in him by his followers. 3. The Quote Change, we dont like it, we fear it, but cant stop it from coming. We either adapt to change or we get left behind. And it hurts to grow, anybody who tells you it doesnt is lying. But heres the truth: The more things change, the more they stay the same. And sometimes change is good. Oh, sometimes change is everything. I first heard these words on the T.V show Grey’s Anatomy, and ever since they have been like my guiding angel. Right from the time when I was a little girl, I have had this tendency to get greatly attached to people, things and places. I have always resisted change. But â€Å"change† is one of the greatest truths of life and I know I have to learn to deal with it. We all have weaknesses but, courage lies in overcoming them. This task, however difficult it might seem, certain things help make it easier. For me these words became my fairy god mother, and helped me deal with change whenever it stood in front of me ready to shatter me from the inside out. I st ill can’t forget the day of my school farewell, I stood there silent, rewinding all the good memories. Tears filled up my eyes and a sense of great loss filled my heart. I did not want to let go of my friends, my teachers and that school building where I had spent 14 years of my life. I looked around and saw all others also had tears in their eyes, but the difference between them and me was the smile they all wore on their lips. Then it suddenly dawned upon me the smile on their faces was the hope of a new beginning, the hope of a brighter future and a step ahead towards their dreams. I realised at that very moment that my tears were not because of all the good memories I would be leaving behind, but because of the fear of taking on responsibilities of an adult. I did not want to grow up, after all there is nothing better than the life of a child, free from all the shackles of the real adult world. But I had dreams in my heart too and I knew these dreams were bigger than my f ear, I knew I had to challenge my fears and make the move ahead in life. I knew I had to let go of the past in order to live in the present and have wonderful dreams and plans about the future. I wanted to be remembered long after I was gone, and I wanted to make a difference to this world. This was my dream and I knew I only had one life to full fill it. I had to overcome my fears and all the hurdles on my road to success. The biggest one currently was the acceptance of change. It is said the first step to overcome your weakness is to figure it out. I knew my weakness and I had my words of wisdom echoing in my mind again and again. The first step was taken and the rest would surely follow. To conclude I would only say this course has truly been an enlightening experience.

To What Extent Has the World Trade Organisation Helped?

The World Trade Organization (WTO) was established in 1995 after the Uruguayan Round. It embodies the international organization which deals with a wider range of aspects related to the international trade. The WTO controls the international trading system. It represents an evolved instrument of negotiation in comparison with the preceding General Agreements on Trade on Tariff and Trade (GATT). Hoekman, B. M. & Kostecki, M. M. (2009) WTO includes many important improvements on economic issues, disciplines and commitments of the international negotiation in addition it shape the current Multilateral Trading System (MTS).United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (2008) Reports have shown that WTO was creating a favorable condition for business in Peru during the last 10 years. WTO (2007) since the beginning as member of WTO Peruvian governments have express their interest to continue doing necessary improvement in its legislation in order to achieve a completely integration to the global market as well as liberation of trade, WTO (2007) actively participation in negotiations and integration agreements is evidence of that. For instance Peru has bilateral agreements in force with: Unites States of America, Chile, Mexico, Canada, Singapore, China, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Panama, Andean community (CAN), Asia pacific Cooperation Forum (APEC) Latin America Integration association (LAIA), MERCOSUR, agreements signed with : Venezuela, Costa Rica, Guatemala, European Union, and Agreements in negotiation: El Salvador, Honduras, Doha program, Pacific alliance.WTO. org (2012 Foreign capitals entering to the local market in Peru are steadily increasing as result of trade negotiations also it has made possible to some local industries access to the international market. However Peru still depends on commodities exportation, for example traditional products that are mainly agricultural and minerals such as Cooper, gold, oil and fish meal represent the 75. 7% and n ontraditional products such as textiles and agro industrials products represents 23. 92 %. INEI (2012) in my view this may bring negative consequences to the local economy if Peru remain exporting non value added goods. Since 1995 Peru is a member of the WTO, WTO. org (2012). Agreements were incorporated to the Peruvian legislation 1996 however due to internal political troubles It was not possible to see the real impact of these agreements until 2002.At that time deep concern in the government in turn made to undertake political reforms in order to promote a major participation of the country into the WTO. During the period from 2000 to 2002 Peru experienced grow of the domestic products (GDP) of 4. 6 %, a slightly increment from 2002 and 2006 of 5. 8 % however after coming into effect important bilateral and regional agreements the GDP grew 7. 8 % in 2010.MICETUR (2012) WTO plays the role of international intermediary between developing and developed economies bringing apparently favorable condition to less developing world when facing negotiation for instance in the DOHA round of November of 2012 emerged the initiative to help developing countries by launching the Doha program which aim to find solutions to important issues affecting developing countries such as obstacle to access to international market of agricultural products, development of the agriculture industry by technical assistance, enhance the capacity, dispute settlement and industrial tariffs as well as services.United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (2008) To conclude WTO propose the legal framework to create better conditions especially during commercial negotiations to achieve the development however Countries requires improve its capacities in order to be competitive and capable to avail this benefits.

Why Bullying Is Bad Or Bad - 1391 Words

Why people Bully All around the world, many people today are bullied, and mistreated by others. There is not much of a definite reasoning to why one bullies, and puts other people down, but there are speculations to this problem. Many causes to why people bully one another is because the bully has insecurities of their own, they are jealous of their victim, family problems arise, and they like having the power that bullying has on others. Not only does bullying affect many throughout the world, but there is many different types of bullying that affect many people. There are commonly four different types of bullying. These include physical bullying, in which is when one hits, punches, kicks, or pinches another person. Also there is verbal bullying, that is when any type of rude remark is made upon another. Another type of bullying is social bullying, in which it results to one trying to harm ones social reputation, by humiliating them or spreading rumors about them. Lastly is cyber bullying, and that is a type of bullying where it occurs through technology, and it can happen to anyone at any time. Even though there are different types of bullying, it does not matter which one is done by to someone, it just takes one bully to hurt another’s feelings, or put their self-esteem down. The first cause that can lead many to bully is having insecurities. Insecurities is when someone has the lack of confidence within themselves, and this will lead many to bully others.Show MoreRelatedBullying And Its Effect On Children1533 Words   |  7 PagesBullying can happen anywhere and to anyone whether it is online or in person.
